“Those who wait for the Bridegroom’s coming are to say to the people, “Behold your God.” The last rays of merciful light, the last message of mercy to be given to the world, is a revelation of His character of love. The children of God are to manifest His glory. In their own life and character they are to reveal what the grace of God has done for them.” Christs Object Lessons p. 415.5
Notice the wonderful words, that: “the last message of mercy to be given to the world, is a revelation of His character of love.” The revelation of God’s love is the last message of mercy to be given. It has always been the message meant to be given to the world. This is how the Father draws us to Himself.
John 6:44 “No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.“
It is impossible to just go to the Father before comprehending the kind of love He Has for us.
John 6:65 “And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.”
But how does God draw us to Himself?
Jeremiah 31:3 “The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.”
As mentioned in the opening statement of this article, a revelation of God’s love is what should be presented. It is by this love of God that men are drawn to Him; “therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee“.
But how do we see God’s love for man?
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.”
1 John 4:9 “In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.”
The act of giving His only begotten Son is the unquestionable evidence of our Father’s boundless love for us.
Take this away and you have greatly frustrated God’s mission of drawing all men towards Himself.
This love should never be hid from men.
Sadly, the institutions professing to be Christian, and messengers of this matchless love are the very ones causing blindness of men to this wonderful love.
How? you may ask. By making Jesus Christ not to be the only begotten Son of God.
Remember 1 John 4:9 “In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.”
If Jesus is/was never God’s only begotten Son, then how can we comprehend the love of God? And if we cannot comprehend God’s love will we ever be drawn to Him? Jeremiah 31:3.
It is a revelation of the love of God by the giving of His only begotten Son that draws all unto Him.
Take this away and you have doomed all to perdition.
If the trinity doctrine is true, then God’s love is false, because He never really had a begotten Son to give.
And if this be the case, then we not only make God a liar but also lose out on His wondrous salvation.
John 6:45 “It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.“
